This is an original Georgian copperplate engraving of Shepey (sic.) Sheppey, N.E. Church, Leicestershire. It is sized 110 x 165 mm. Featuring the church itself in the center of the image, with a couple of gravestones dotted around in foreground. A horse and carriage can also be seen on the left hand side. At the bottom of the page is another engraving of Radeclive, (sic.) Ratcliffe S.E. Church, Leicestershire. It is sized 102 x 125 mm. There are two columns of shields running along both left and right hand sides of this engraving. In the center of the page there are several smaller engravings of two figures kneeling on a cushion praying, a dozen different shield emblem designs and a larger engraving of a tomb. All edges very neat. Overall within plate mark sized 215 x 365 mm. On paper sized 265 x 445 mm. Vol. 4 Pl. 146 Why on Amazon do most sellers not describe their actual book?
