This is an antique and very well-preserved map of the Northamptonshire, hand-coloured and very well-preserved apart from central vertical fold lines and some minor associated wear. Otherwise in excellent condition, with only some small superficial marks and creases, mostly unobtrustive, aside from some light spotting and rubbing to the image surface . Engraved by J. & C. Walker, based on a survey of the region conducted by C. & J. Greenwood in 1825-6, and published by Greenwood & Co. in 1830. The map also includes an engraving depicting a View of Ripon Minster.
