Item constitutes a beautifully preserved original John Luffman map of the Western Pyrenees and the surrounding region, following the first phase of the Peninsular War. The image is largely free from notable damage or wear, but shows some very light discolouration commensurate with the item's age, along with some very small holes in the corners of the seams. Item includes the original slipcase, into which the map folds at 110 x 110 mm. Slipcase is lightly worn and browned but remains intact and well-preserved.
