Size: Folio. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Illustrated and decorated stiff paper wraps, 16" x 12" side stapled, 19 pages (pages not numbered), includes Proposed Constitution which included a change of name to The American Bakers Association, the granting of licenses to use the Association emblem, and "acquainting the public through advertising and publicity with what membership in the Association represents", three tipped in color proposed advertisements, one tipped in color proposed Association emblem, and one color label suggested as "a decalcomania to be used on your trucks and bakery windows." Covers are soiled with a few light stains (the two at the top edge in the photograph are not as pronounced as in they appear), corners creased, two short tears fore edge back cover, pages lightly toned, with corners creased a little, some creasing along bottom edge; the three proposed advertisements were originally tipped in, but at some point the bottom corners were pasted down causing some wrinkling of the paper there and one ad has bottom left corner torn. Full title continues: "With Program of Action Involving Membership in the American Association of the Baking Industry to Be Considered at the National Convention in Chicago September 20-22."
