Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Side stapled green illustrated wraps, no date but circa 1920, 32 pages, Index inside back cover, illustrated with pictures of the various automobile parts, all items priced with parcel post weight. Wraps soiled, staples rusted, corners chipped, one signature in middle of book detached but present, interior pages lightly age toned & soiled from handling, one handwritten correction to the name of a part. Most of the brand name parts are associated with Ford cars (side curtains, heaters, head lights, timers, side tire carriers, felt gaskets etc.). H. & M. sold most things associated with automobiles including running board mats, seat covers, battery boxes, seat covers, brake shoes, bumpers, fan belts, radiator wings ("Adds a lot of style and dash to any car"), hand cleansers, grease guns, fender braces, tire locking chains (apparently people stole the tires off cars), klaxon hand horns, locks for door handles, jacks, spotlights, cigar lighters, tools, replacements springs, goggles, steering wheels, rims and wheels, cut crystal glass flower vases and more.
