Brilliant blue gilt stamped cloth over boards, [8], 156 pages, [8], Bibliography, Index, illustrated in black-and-white including black-and-white photographs. Top corners bumped, front hinge cracked (binding still tight). In an illustrated paper dust jacket that is toned, chipped at corners, spine ends, and along all edges, four short tears, back of jacket scuffed. In a Brodart jacket. A history of Schenectady New York, originally a revision of another book for schoolchildren by the same author, but now a story of Schenectady's historical background for adults.
