"This book brings together for the first time the biographies and stories about hundreds of Cornish Colony artists, writers, musicians, and philosophers whose creative impulses have shaped American art and culture since the mid-nineteenth century. Not only do we learn about these artists and their families, we also learn about the relationships they had with one another during their time in Cornish and elsewhere. After examining Cornish history, the book shifts its focus to the Cornish Colony. Thus we are able to imagine, from story to story, the incredible impact that the New Hampshire landscape has had upon the artistic spirit." Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: 4 lbs 2 oz.
