Red decorated cloth over boards, gilt lettering on spine, iv, 104 pages, 39 pages (catalogue of other books by the same publisher), consists of four "little tales": The Srimats; The Shipwrecked Sailors; Isle Pleasant; The Islanders' Experience of Foreign Trade. From the Preface: "It is hoped that these little tales may be of some use to those who are trying to teach Political Economy." Millicent Garrett Fawcett was a British suffragist, an intellectual, political leader, Union leader, mother, wife and writer. Covers are soiled/ worn/stained, corners and spine ends bumped; tiny hole/dent in front board; starting with the first page of the Macmillan & Co. catalogue, the top corner of each page is damaged, fore-edges chipped in two spots & that carries through to the back cover; from page 19 of the catalogue through to the back free end paper, the pages are torn at the bottom edges near gutter.
