Special Limited Edition, first issue in this format. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Text body is clean and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. This copy is from the library of Amy Bess Miller, author on all matters Shaker and founder of the Hancock Shaker Museum. It is copy number 468 of 500, published "on the occasion of the Shaker's Bicentennial 1774-1974." Pictorial boards, photographs and selections by Colin Becket Richmond, brief introduction by Eldress Bertha Lindsay, xv + 137 pp., illustrated with b & w photographs. In a slipcase which has a paste-down label that is the same as the front cover of the book.
