Size: 4to. An interesting book produced for the first meeting of the wool industry sponsored by the Wool Institute, Inc., held at the Hotel Roosevelt May 28, 1929. Heavy paper wraps with three holes punched at left margin and bound together by a green string, gilt stamped logo on front wrap and title page, 15 pages text plus charts, some in color, and several pages of b & w photos of men and women in wool clothing; typewritten list of Reception Committee, printed list of members. Uses a comparison to the automobile industry to show how the woolen industry can thrive. Wraps are soiled, all edges chipped, also spine ends and corners; interior is clean except for some pencil notations (almost as if proofreading this copy), two pages have creased corners.
