30 pages. Published from 1914 to 1933, The Welsh Outlook was intended to promote a view of Cultural Nationalism and social progress within Wales, as reflected in the topics in each monthly part. The magazine is considered to have been important in the development of Welsh Nationalism, and Wales as a Nation separate from the rest of Britain, most especially so from England through the Welsh language. The print runs were tiny, even by the standards of the day, perhaps only 2000 an issue in the early days, rather less later, and are consequently tricky to find. Original printed wrappers, loose and torn. Staples are rusted. Contains; Prejudiced History: A Criticism of The Welsh Language Report by W. Garmon Jones; Tennyson and Wales by H.G. Wright; Vanished Lands by R. Alun Roberts; Wales and The World by Rev. Gwilym Davies; The Structure of Reality by D. Miall Edwards; Little Tales by T. Hughes Jones; The National Resources of Wales - III Limestone by F.J. North; Relativity and a Railway Ticket by Edward greenly; S'Nellie's Welsh Fairy Tales: Lost in The Forest by Eleanor Boniface; Real Revolution by George M. Ll. Davies; Wales at Work - A Social Diary; The Exile's Corner by Hugh Jones. Size: Quarto. 30 pages. Quantity Available: 1. Category: Welsh Outlook; Inventory No: 224210.
