XI, 196 pages, acknowledgements, introduction by author, bibliography and index. Black-and-white photographic frontispiece of Alexander Forrest in 1874. The text is illustrated by a map of Western Australia. Dark brown coloured boards with gilt writing and gilt printers' cartouche on the spine. Minor bumping to the head and to the heel of the spine and rubbing to the book corners. Shelf wear to the lower book edges. The major damage to the book has been to the top edge where there has been moisture which has caused lightning of the brown coloured cloth. Moisture does not intrude upon the internal pages. Previous owners name to the top edge of the free front endpaper. Very light tan into the internal pages. Plain text dustwrapper with light and dark green background with dark green writing on the front panel and the spine. Rubbing and very slight chipping to the dustwrapper corners and to the top spine edge. Some small close to tears to the dustwrapper top edge. Clipping of the dustwrapper, front fold over, lower right-hand corner. The Biography of Alexander Forrest, explorer, politician, Pioneer pastoralist, and capitalist.
