The book has black coloured boards with gilt writing on spine. The corners are bumped, and there is shelf wear evident on the bottom edges. On the last two pages of the book there are 2 black marks . Photographic dustwrapper that has minor rubbing along its edges. There is a small triangular tear to back gutter dustwrapper. This 1971 book was an attempt of the writers to examine the aboriginal people and their situation in the wake of social conscience being awoken, of white Australia to the indigenous inhabitants.
