The text is illustrated with numerous black-and-white photographs throughout the text. Blue coloured cloth covered boards with gilt titles to the backstrip. Bumping and rubbing to the backstrip edges and to the book corners. The backstrip and the rear panel has come in contact with moisture and colour of the cloth has now become very light, almost white. Browning and foxing to the text block edges and browning to the internal text. Browning an offset tanning to the endpapers. Colour illustrated dustwrapper, same illustration as for frontispiece, with blue titles to the front panel and backstrip. Rubbing and chipping to the dustwrapper corners and there is here heavy sunning to the backstrip. Rubbing to the fold over crease and there is a 0.5 " tear to the top edge of the rear bowled over crease, with associated creasing. There is a triangular piece missing from the top left-hand corner of the front panel measuring 2" x 1.75 ", and a smaller piece missing from the top right-hand corner of the rear dustwrapper panel. A history and explanation of the Christian holy site in Ireland called Cnoc Muire [Knock Shrine]. Much like the French holy place, Lourdes, Cnoc Muire [Knock Shrine] also draws people by the thousands in the hope of cure, peace or revelation. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
