(2) 3-80 pages, a foreward by author. Black-and-white photographic frontispiece -- showing "A Modern Corvette". The text is illustrated with black-and-white photography throughout the text. Blue coloured textured card covers with dark blue titles to the front panel and back strip. Creasing to the book corners and back strip edges with rubbing to all book ages. Some staining,? Oil, to the top edge of the front panel. Browning to the textblock edges end internal text. Previous owners details to the free ront endpaper and to the top edge of the title page. Original bookseller's sticker to the lower left-hand corner of the free front endpaper, which has ghosted on to the front post-down. The hinge is somewhat cracked at the photographic frontispiece and title page. Jottings of the author as he and he is a fellow sailors plied the seas in Corvettes during World War II.
