Rothafel ['Roxy'], glossary of electrical and mechanical terms and index. The text is illustrated with numerous black-and-white photographs and black-and-white illustrations and at the beginning and at the end of the book industry related advertisements. Dark red coloured cloth covered boards with gilt embossed titles to the front panel and backstrip. Heavy rubbing, with underlying board visible, to the book corners, book edges and backstrip. There is fraying of the cloth to the backstrip. Heavy rubbing to the book panels. The gilding of the titles has worn completely away. Browning and some marking to the text block edges and previous owner has placed their name on the front fore text block edge. Browning to the internal text along with handling marks and previous owner's notations, in various coloured inks and pencils. Original bookseller's sticker to the lower right-hand corner of the front paste-down. Cracking of the rear hinge and underlying webbing is visible and front hinge is somewhat slack. The book is in good condition, for its age and usage. A book about motion picture projection, which was first published in 1918, and the various technical requirements to project motion picture films for their best viewing.
