Red coloured cloth boards with gilt coloured titles to the backstrip. Bumping and flecking to the lower backstrip edge and rubbing to the book corners. Flecking to the top book edges and light browning to the text block edges. Light browning to the endpapers and age toning to the internal text. Original bookseller's sticker to the lower edge of the front paste-down. Colour illustrated dustwrapper, by "Curl", with white and black coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. Black-and-white photograph of author to the rear dustwrapper panel. Rubbing and chipping to the dustwrapper edges and to the backstrip edges. The rear fold over crease shows considerable damage from insect activity, with a thinning of the dustwrapper paper along with some holes. Handling marks and rubbing to the rear dustwrapper panel and there is a small abraded area to the lower edge of the dustwrapper panel, commensurate with removal of a sticker. Clipping of the dustwrapper, front fold over, lower right-hand corner.
