94 pages, last two pages blank, at the rear of the book is a section of 20 pages under the label of Chronicle -- The 1954 Exhibition of Graphic Arts -- showcasing various forms of arts. The text is illustrated with numerous black and white photographs, showing various artworks, three tipped in colour plates and four colour photographs. Plain text dustwrapper with green and white background with yellow decoration around the white insert and black titles to the front panel and backstrip. The dustwrapper is covering a plain card cover and has been adhered to the cover on the front and rear fold over panel. Rubbing and creasing to the edges of the dustwrapper and there is a 0.5 " tear to the top left-hand corner of the front dustwrapper cover. The rear dustwrapper is yellow, rubbed, stained and shows quite noticeable handling marks. Some browning to the endpapers and very light age toning to the internal pages. A chronicle of the Romanian art life put out by the State in the late 1950s. There are three sections, each dealt with by the authors.
