Green coloured boards with gilt titles to the backstrip. Bumping to the head and to the heel of the backstrip, the lower edge being particularly affected. Rubbing to the book corners and there has been bumping to the backstrip 2.5 " from the top edge. There are various stains to the front and back panels. Browning and faint foxing to the top text block edge and lighter browning to the other text block edges. Original bookseller's sticker to the lower right-hand corner of the front paste-down. Offset tanning to the half title page and light age toning to the internal pages. Illustrated dustwrapper, by William Randell, with black and white coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. Rubbing and creasing to the dustwrapper corners and to the top and bottom dustwrapper edges. There is a very small tear to the top edge of the rear dustwrapper edge and a small piece missing from the lower edge of the backstrip. Yellowing and handling marks of the rear dustwrapper panel.
