Illustrated front cover, showing pale purple spheres and in the distance a man which is attached to one of these spheres and in the foreground a very frightened young woman -- 1950s style. This book is definitely showing its age. Rubbing, creasing and slight chipping to the book edges. Age marks to the front and back panel. Heavy browning and foxing to the text block edge. There are also other marks to the front fore edge. Foxing and age, owning to the internal pages. Numerous pages have become dogeared to the top and bottom page edges.
