112 pages, introduction by author, acknowledgements and credits. Pink coloured endpapers. The text is illustrated with numerous coloured photographs and black-and-white illustrations. Purple coloured boards with gilt writing on the spine. The extreme edges of the cloth have become somewhat faded and there is a little rubbing to the top and bottom book edges. Some dust marks to the top paper edge and previous owner's name to the top edge of the free front endpaper. Photographic dustwrapper, showing a dress designed by Peggy Z, with pink writing on the front panel and spine. Creasing and rubbing to both the top and bottom dustwrapper edges and there has been a little chipping, with lost to the lower spine edge. Rubbing to the dustwrapper edges as well. Some rubbing and fading of the book panels has also occurred. There is a puncture mark 6 "from the lower dustwrapper edge on the back panel. In 1982 the question was asked of the dress designers of the day as to what fashion would be like in 2001. This book is the response to that question. Designers include; Versace, Kenzo, Valentino, Fendi etc. In total 100 individual designers or design houses are represented. This is the First USA Edition. Size: Folio (over 12" tall ).
