Within the text there are another in 11 black-and-white illustrations by the same illustrator. Dark blue boards with self embossed design on the front panel with gilt writing both on the front panel and spine. Bumping, rubbing and fraying to the book spine and book edges with underlying board again visible. Shelfwear to both the top and bottom book edges and there is a small area to the rear top book edge in which the underlying board is visible. Heavy browning and foxing to the paper edges. There has been a little rubbing to the book cloth. Offset tanning and foxing to the endpapers and internal pages have become very slightly tanned. Some handling marks to the internal pages.
