40pp., preface by author and introduction. Plain grey card covers with black writing on the front panel. The covers of the book are very browned and on the front panel there is some very heavy dark marking. Scuffing to the book corners and there is a little chipping to the top and bottom of the spine. The front panel has come away from the staples and the internal covers are as browned as the external. Browning to the title page and there are handling marks to the internal pages as well. Inserted loosely into the book are some notes by previous owner. The book has been inscribed by the author -- "F/L Michael Hutchings, with my best wishes Leonard B. Cox.". After the fall the French government in 1940, the author had his belief systems quite shaken. This book was an attempt to realign his shaky world view. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
