Coloured illustrated frontispiece, showing "Le Lion Anglais et le taureau Boer"from a French satirical magazine. The text is illustrated with numerous black and white contemporary photographs, modern photographs, illustrations, maps and facsimiles of advertisements. Mustard coloured boards with gilt illustration and gilt writing on the spine. Corners of the book are slightly rubbed and the head and the heel of the spine are bumped. Some marks to the cloth of the boards and browning to the paper edges. The spine is somewhat "loose".
