The text is illustrated with black and white contemporary photographs. Dark blue coloured boards with gilt writing on the spine. Shelf wear is evident to the bottom edges of the book. The head and the heel of the spine are slightly bumped. Browning to the paper edges. Illustrated dust wrapper, by Peter Rudland, with red and yellow writing on the front panel and spine. Dustwrapper is rubbed and faded, spine being particularly affected. Chipping to the top and bottom spine edges and there are creases to the dustwrapper. Staining is visible to the spine area on the verso of the dust wrapper.
