192 pp. Black and white illustrated frontispiece, and throughout the book there are numerous black and white sketches and illustrations done by various artists. Light blue font boards with dark blue decoration, and dark blue writing on the spine. Corners of the book are slightly bumped and rubbed and the head and the heel of the spine are likewise. Slight fading and rubbing to the book panels along with grubby marks. Dust marks to the top paper edge along with foxing marks. Some foxing marks to the internal pages as well, worse at the beginning few pages. This book was produced by "The Times" for the benefit of those soldiers who were sick and wounded during world War 1. Authors and artists were serving members of the British armed services.
