We tended to overlook the claims of real colonist, the free settler, and the ticket-of-leave man who, grading hardships that we can inadequately visualise, pushed out into the unknown.". The Milson family were such people, and this is the tale as told through letters, reminiscences and other documents. The corners slightly rubbed and bumped as are the head and heel of spine. On half title page there is a brown staining 3" x 8", closest to the spine. The dustwrapper is heavily rubbed and faded and all corners have small pieces missing. The head of the spine is chipped and again a small piece is missing and bottom spine is chipped with resulting loss of .25" from the edge. Sun damage has occurred and the spine is particularly affected. This is the first Australian edition. Size: 4to 9" - 12" tall. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Illustrator: Geoffrey C. Ingleton . Quantity Available: 1. Category: History; Local History -- New South Wales ; Family History ; Inventory No: 0100632.
