128pp. Sixty paintings, both in colour and sepia, with painting on one side and the text for that painting on the other side. Tan coloured boards with gilt writings on spine. Coloured endpapers. Slight rubbing of the corners has occurred also to the head on heel of spine. On the front panel there is a small discolouration, on top edge, measuring 2" x .5". Illustrated dustwrapper with green and brown writing on front panel and spine. Slight rubbing to the dustwrapper corners and along front and back spine gutter. There are some grubby marks to the front and back panels. The front fold over has a crease running along the bottom right-hand corner in a triangular fashion. Robert Ingpen has illustrated, in this book, abandoned buildings; but not those of popular renowned, instead he "travelled thousands of kilometres to seek out those that were not so well known, and especially those with a colourful story or some lesson about our heritage.
