32pp. Throughout the text there are numerous coloured illustrations. Endpapers illustrated by map of Victoria and towns visited. Illustrated boards, by John Darbyshire, showing 'The Diggings, Ballarat'. Yellow background with black and white writing on the front panel and black on spine. The corners are bumped and slight shelf wear evident on bottom edges of book. Illustrated dustwrapper, showing the same illustrations as the boards. The corners are slightly creased and there are some grubby marks to the back panel of the dustwrapper. The gold rush in Victoria spawned many towns, some like Bendigo and Ballarat are still thriving while others like Steiglitz are now ghost towns. In this book John Darbyshire and C.
