IV, 194 pp., foreword by the Honourable E. H. Farrar, M. L. C., president of the Legislative Council. Black and white photographic frontispiece, showing author, and within the text first one other photograph of author's husband. Blue coloured cloth with darker blue writing on the spine. The corners slightly rubbed and there is shelf wear evident on bottom edge of book. The head and the heel of spine are slightly bumped. Booksellers sticker on the front paste down. Plain text dustwrapper, dark blue background with white writing on the front panel and spine. The corners are chipped and there is general fading of the dustwrapper. Both the top and bottom edge of the dustwrapper have some small chips. The back panel is a little grubby. Between 1913 to 1920 the author's husband, W. A Holman, was the Premier of New South Wales. During this time Ada Holman had an opportunity to meet notable and fascinating people, and it is these people who form the subject of her autobiography "....and she records thier virtues and thier foibles with charm and skill.".
