The text is illustrated by one fold - out map, and numerous black and white photographs. On title page "2nd edition, 750 copies" has been printed. Green coloured boards with gilt titles on front panel. This is a classic text which was first published in 1932 and has had many reprints since. It goes in to the trees of New South Wales, both native and introduced and gives information re: "their botanical features, distribution, soil requirements, general usefulness and cultivation, the utility of the various species from the farmers' and pastoralists' points of view being particularly emphasised.". Bumping and rubbing to the backstrip edges, book corners, covers and failing to the spine. The head and the heel of the spine is very bumped and soft. Browning of the text block edges and foxing to the endpapers and the following 2 pages. Previous owners name on front paste down. Second Edition. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
