Illustrated dustwrapper, showing the picture of the subject by Paul Fitzgerald. This biography highlights the life of Henry Winneke, Victorias' first native -born governor. He was also a lawyer of great repute, had a distinguished RAAF career during World War II, but also was Victoria's first non Parliamentary Solicitor- General. "To all these posts, he bought initiative, flair, compassion and above all, an overriding passion for justice.". Shelf wear evidence on the bottom edge of book and also on the top edge. The head of the spine is heavily bumped. There is a remainder mark on top edge of the paper as are some dust marks. There are grubby marks on the back panel and the dustwrapper in slightly rubbed.
