VII, 129pp., forward, selected reading, index and list of maps. Text is illustrated with black and white photographs, graphs, halftone illustrations, sketches and maps. Red cloth boards with gilt embossed Canberra coat of arms. Gilt titles on the spine. Coloured endpapers. The cloth is faded and there is edge wear present on all edges of the book and the corners bumped. The end of the spine gutters, both top and bottom, a particularly rubbed. Previous owners name on ffep. Illustrated dustwrapper, which is protected, showing a projected view of Canberra. Black titles on the front panel and white writing on the spine. The dustwrapper is faded and rubbed. On the front panel spine gutter there is a 1.5 " tear at the top, and a 2" closed tear at the bottom. Verso of the dustwrapper along front fold over is a brown stain. The dustwrapper is chipped heavily all round. This book was put out in 1965 by The National Capital Development Commission, to detail the development of the city of Canberra for the next 25 years. Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall.
