HARRY PETERS. A four-volume set (Currier & Ives, Printmakers to the American People in 2 volumes plus California on Stone and America on Stone), New York: Arno Press, 1976; together with Currier & Ives, The New Best 50 by the American Historical Print Collectors Society, Milwaukee, 1991. The Peters set is a massive reprint in quarto of a 1929-35 reference series that is essential to collectors and dealers in American lithography, in original cardboard slipcase. See Georgia Barnhill's Bibliography on American Prints, 185, 1287 and 1288. Also see Arntzen & Rainwater N140 for America on Stone.
