Tall quarto, unnumbered copy of an edition limited to 750, pp. 528, 3 folding color maps, errata slip tipped in at dedication page, green cloth boards with gilt stamped lettering on spine and upper panel, blind-stamped logo and rules on both boards, 18 color plates, numerous other illustrations including photos, top edge gilt. Includes the scarce dust jacket. This is a real guy collection, British, heavy on nautical themes, war and other aggression, with occasional peaceful landscapes and portraits. Orange says in his preface that he was aware of nothing else like this collection. Condition of this book: Worn at edges, a bit of foxing at fore edge, overall very good. The dust jacket has little pieces missing and a tear across mid-spine, stabilized under Brodart. Size: Quarto. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing.
