Coming amid the worst economic times Americans ever faced, this was a thinly veiled justification for a presidency that history has judged harshly. Subsequently Hoover stuck to writing about fishing and other safe topics. Condition of this book: Boards lightly worn with minor rubbing at edges; jacket sunned at spine, with a few chips and minor staining. Leaves clean and tight, darkened at top edge with a few marks.
