Tipped in is a love note dated 1912, apropos of nothing whatsoever in this book, which is a post-World War I guide for the adventurous British driver, with this kind of advice on Italy: "No words can describe the height, length, and density of the dust-cloud that follows in the wake of a car on certain roads." On Spain: "Anyone who goes south of Madrid will sooner or later encounter trouble." Condition of this book: Boards darkening, spine ends rubbed. Leaves clean and tight, with foxing at front endpages, images fine. Size: 12mo. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting.
